This paper looks at the European Union process of engagement in the South Caucasus in the context of its Neighborhood Policy. It looks at how divergent perceptions of the region impact on regional policy choices, with an emphasis on regional cooperation Flaticon download. This background brief examines the relations between the EU and its eastern neighbours through a case study of Georgia.
